EPY Sleep Assistant

More than 50 million U.S. citizens suffer from insomnia, and 70 percent of these recognize stress as the main cause. Lack of sleep and an irregular circadian rhythm can lead to serious health problems (physical and mental) such as obesity, diabetes, depression, anxiety, low productivity, lack of memory and concentration.
EPY is a sleep assistant that can help users fight insomnia and stress, leading them to a gentle sleep and a peaceful awakening through the playback of white sounds and warm mood lights.

Take control of your sleep

Sleep is essential for physical health as it allows the body to repair itself. During sleep, various body functions are regulated, including hormone release, metabolism, immune function, and cardiovascular health. Chronic sleep deprivation can lead to increased risk of health problems such as obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and weakened immune system. Poor sleep or disrupted circadian rhythm have been linked to increased risk of mood disorders such as depression and anxiety.

Circadian rhythm

Circadian rhythm is the body's internal clock that regulate the sleep-wake cycle, as well as other physiological processes such as body temperature, hormone secretion, and metabolism. Maintaining a regular sleep schedule and aligning it with the body's natural circadian rhythm promotes overall health and well-being.

Sleep and circadian rhythm are fundamental pillars of health and well-being, impacting various aspects of physical, mental, and emotional functioning in daily li

White noise

One of the primary benefits of white noise is its ability to mask or drown out other environmental noises that may disrupt sleep, such as traffic sounds, snoring, barking dogs, or household noises.

White noise has a calming effect on the brain and nervous system, similar to the sound of flowing water or wind rustling through leaves. Consistent sound can help reduce stress and anxiety, promoting relaxation and easing the transition into sleep.

Sleep continuity

White noise can help promote sleep continuity by minimizing awakenings caused by sudden or intermittent noises during the night. By masking disruptive sounds, white noise can help individuals stay asleep for longer periods and experience more restful sleep.

How does EPY work?

Translucent Cap - by rotating the cap, which functions as a timer, you can set the sound and light playback for up to 45 minutes.

Right Dial - adjust the number of hour of rest. After 6, 8 or 10 hours sound and light reproduction will resume so as to facilitate the user awakening.

Left Dial - adjusts the volume of white sound playback.

Warm lights

Warm lights, especially those with a color temperature similar to the natural warm glow of sunset, signal to the body that it's time to wind down and prepare for sleep. These lights have less blue light, which can inhibit melatonin production. Melatonin is a hormone that regulates the sleep-wake cycle, and its increase in the evening promotes relaxation.

Sleep transition

Exposure to warm lights in the evening helps reinforce the body's natural circadian rhythm by signaling to the brain that it's time to transition from wakefulness to sleep. Consistent exposure to warm light during the evening hours can help synchronize the internal body clock and improve overall sleep quality.

Just as warm lights help signal the body to wind down and prepare for sleep in the evening, they can also facilitate a gentle transition from sleep to wakefulness in the morning. Soft, warm lighting can provide a gentle stimulus to awaken the body.
