TCR Robotic Arm CGI

For this project, my role was to develop the 3D Visualization and the CMF Deck of TCR Robotic Arm, a 7-axis robotic arm designed to perform precision operations in an industrial field. 
 

The CGI project, which consists of a series of renderings and an animation to be used for promotional purposes, focuses on the incredible flexibility and agility of the robotic arm.

3D refinements

The 3D model was analyzed and arranged based on the requirements for rendering. Some details were refined and some components added to ensure a realistic final effect consistent with the real product.

The goal

After developing the art direction, creating and applying materials, and setting up the different environments, I took advantage of the seven axes of the robotic arm to create different setups in order to increase the focus on the arm's extreme agility and flexibility.

Warm lights 

For the creation of the animations, the movements given by the seven axes that characterize the arm were exploited. 
The light reflections highlight the muscular shapes of the arm, which resembles the anatomical shapes of the human arm.
